Death Stranding 2 release date and launch schedule

As Death Stranding 2: On the Beach nears release, players around the world are eager for another boundary-pushing title from Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions. A sequel to 2019’s Death Stranding, the game once again stars Sam Porter Bridges, “The Man Who Delivers.” While the story remains mostly under wraps, one thing’s certain: fans won’t have to wait long, with launch set for June 26, 2025.

When does Death Stranding 2 launch (standard edition)?

Sony hasn’t released one of its usual global launch maps, and this rollout is especially confusing. The game is using a “rolling midnight launch,” meaning it becomes available at midnight in the easternmost time zone of each region. This allows players in western areas of the same region to access the game earlier on the same day. While most sources agree on this rolling midnight system, some like Game8 claim that in many regions, including the Middle East, the game simply unlocks at midnight local time rather than rolling out progressively.

  • 8:00 AM on June 26 in UAE.
  •  7:00 AM on June 26 in Saudi Arabia.
  • 6 AM on June 26 in Qatar.
  • 7 AM on June 26 in Bahrain.
  • 7 AM on June 26 in Kuwait.

Is Death Stranding 2 available for preload?

Yes, as of now, you can preload Death Stranding 2 on your PS

Sony hasn’t shared an official global release schedule yet, but you can estimate your release time using the easternmost time zone in your region. For the Middle East, if a game launches at midnight in the UAE (Gulf Standard Time), it would release at 11:00 PM in Saudi Arabia (Arabian Standard Time) and 10:00 PM.
