Diablo IV Season 11 PTR Live on October 21 – Here’s What You Need To Know
Diablo IV will open the Season 11 Public Test Realm (PTR) on October 21 at 10:30 p.m. PT, running through October 28 at 11 a.m. PT exclusively on PC via Battle.net.
This PTR marks one of the biggest updates in Diablo IV’s evolution, introducing permanent system changes that redefine itemization, monster combat, and progression. Season 11 also debuts Divine Power Infusion through Sanctification and brings back the Lesser Evils, led by the legendary Azmodan, in a battle for control of Sanctuary.
Key Features in the Season 11 PTR
Lesser evils invade sanctuary, the forces of Hell are gathering. Azmodan makes his Diablo IV debut as a new World Boss, accompanied by the return of Duriel, Belial, and Andariel. Each brings new mechanics and challenges across different modes:
Azmodan: Appears as a new World Boss, summoned via Beacons.
Duriel: Corrupts Helltide with parasitic maggots and new summoning mechanics.
Belial: Manipulates The Pit using illusions, Eyes of Belial, and boss replacements.
Andariel: Haunts the Kurast Undercity with time-draining Shades and dungeon affixes.

Sanctification, Infusion of Divine Strength
Harness the ascendant power of the Angels with the new Sanctification system. Players can imbue items with divine energy, gaining bonus legendary powers, extra affixes, and other enhancements.

Itemization Overhaul, Tempering and Masterworking
The new item system gives players unprecedented control over their gear.
Tempering: Choose specific affixes using recipes.
Masterworking: Improve item quality through layered upgrades.
