Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.60 Launches with European Icons and Expanded GT Sophy AI

Polyphony Digital has officially launched Update 1.60 for Gran Turismo 7, delivering a substantial content refresh that includes three new vehicles, additional single-player race events, enhanced GT Sophy AI integration, and a brand-new collection of Scottish Scapes. The update is now live on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 systems.
Lancia Delta Leads a Trio of New European Cars
Leading the lineup of new content is the legendary 1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Rally Car, a motorsport icon known for its dominance in the World Rally Championship. It arrives in-game sporting its #3 Tour de Corse livery. Joining the Delta are two more vehicles rooted in European design and engineering: the 1987 Citroën BX 19 TRS, featuring Citroën’s hallmark hydropneumatic suspension, and the modern 2021 Peugeot SUV 2008 Allure, a practical crossover that blends everyday performance with sleek, modern styling.
New Cars Now Available in Dealerships
All three cars are accessible through Gran Turismo 7’s in-game Brand Central, Legends Cars, or Used Cars dealerships, depending on availability and model history. Pricing varies based on rarity and classification within the game’s vehicle economy.
Extra Menu Book and Race Events Expand Single-Player Experience
In addition to the new cars, Update 1.60 expands the single-player campaign with the introduction of Extra Menu Book No. 46: Mercedes-Benz Legends. This collector-focused objective tasks players with acquiring three historic Mercedes-Benz vehicles to unlock a special reward. Three new race events have also been added to the World Circuits roster: the Sunday Cup at Streets of Willow Springs (Reverse), European Sunday Cup 400 at Watkins Glen Short, and the World Rally Challenge Gr.B at Colorado Springs Lake.

GT Sophy AI Gains New Track Support
AI racing continues to evolve in Gran Turismo 7 as GT Sophy, the advanced AI agent developed by Sony AI, now supports races on the Alsace – Village circuit. This marks another step forward in Sophy’s rollout, delivering more responsive, human-like competition in select events and custom race formats.
Scottish Scapes Bring Fresh Photographic Opportunities
For fans of the game’s photography suite, the update introduces a new Scapes set featuring 30 locations across Scotland. The update showcases scenic views of highland roads, historic lochs, and misty hills adding even more creative options for players who enjoy capturing their vehicles in realistic settings.
Update Now Available Globally
Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.60 began its global rollout on June 26 following scheduled server maintenance. As with previous updates, it is available at no cost to all players, though installation requires an internet connection and the latest system firmware.
