The Game Awards Statue Mystery Has Been Solved
Geoff Keighley recently shared a cryptic post on X with the caption “regal.inspiring.thickness.” Fans quickly realized it was a What3Words location pointing to a remote spot in the Mojave Desert near Joshua Tree, California. At the location, visitors discovered a massive, intimidating statue. It is covered in skulls, twisting skeletons, and animal-like faces including lions and crocodiles. A portal-like opening dominates the center, and at night it reportedly glows red, adding to its mysterious presence.

Almost Certainly Divinity Original Sin
It looks like the mystery might have been solved ahead of The Game Awards on Thursday. MP1st spotted several recently registered trademarks that reveal both a game title and a logo almost identical to one of the symbols on the desert monolith. These filings appear to point to a new Divinity game from Larian Studios.
