Sanrio and Sunblink have officially announced the upcoming launch of Hello Kitty Island Adventure on PlayStation 5, set to release digitally on August 5, 2025. The news comes as the cozy life-sim game continues to expand beyond its original Apple Arcade debut, offering console players a new way to experience the world of Big Adventures Park.
Standard Physical Edition Launches August 29
Following the digital debut, a physical Standard Edition of the game will hit retail shelves on August 29, 2025. Available for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, this edition includes the base game and offers a collectible alternative for fans and families looking to own the game in a boxed format, complete with platform-specific packaging
Gift Box Edition Coming Exclusively to Switch
In addition to the standard release, a deluxe Gift Box Edition has been confirmed for Nintendo Switch, launching November 7, 2025. This premium set includes exclusive physical collectibles such as trading cards, a printed Critter & Fish guide, a character insert called “Tophat’s Memories,” and a full size double sided poster. It also features a Deluxe in-game version with bonus items and starter packs, this edition is a standout collector’s item, though it will not be made available for PlayStation 5 at this time.
