Saudi esports team Twisted Minds targets $1M Honor of Kings title
Saudi Esports Team Twisted Minds competing in the Honor of Kings International Championship
Saudi Arabia’s investments into Esport infrastructure are beginning to bare their fruit. Twisted Minds, an esports team out of Saudi Arabia, are competing in the Kings International Championship (KIC) 2025 in the city of Manilla, capital of the Philippines. Battling for a slice of the $1,000,000 prize pool.

KIC 2025 started on the 14th of November running until the 30th. This comes hot off the heels of the Kings Pro League (KPL) which filled Beijing’s National Stadium, the Birds Nest. Chengdu All Gamers (AG) beat the 10-time champions Wolves Esports 4-2 to claim the title, shattering the glass ceiling that is the Wolves’ domination of the KPL. The final pulled a world-record-breaking 62,196 spectators in attendance! The largest number of attendees for a single esports match ever.
Built around Honor of Kings; the world’s most popular MOBA with over 200 million registered users and a staggering 100 million daily players. The KPL is currently the esports event with the highest viewership in the world. Uniting hundreds of millions of young fans and attracting 250 million unique viewers in 2025.

Twisted Minds had a hard game against their Upper Bracket semi-final opponent Redbull OG, being swept in a 0-3 loss. Into the Lower Bracket semi-finals, this time against Brazilian Team Loops, who had also suffered decimation in their Upper Bracket losing 0-3 to Nova Esports. Twisted Minds vs Loops was an explosive match- with Twisted Minds putting down the hammer and walking away with a 3-0 win, moving them onto the Lower Bracket Finals to face against their former opponents, OG.
Twisted Minds qualified for KIC by toppling OG in an epic 3-2 reverse sweep after being down 0-2. With Saudi Arabia’s spot in the Knockouts confirmed; Twisted Minds faces off against Alpha Gaming tomorrow.
