The YAS Gaming Festival is almost here, and it’s an event you just can’t miss! From July 30 to August 10, step into a world of esports tournaments, cosplay, simulators, and more. 

What the Event Brings:

From cosplay and esports tournaments to console setups and family entertainment, the event truly has something for everyone. First and foremost, calling all cosplayers: dress up as your favorite characters and amaze the judges by becoming the star of the festival in shows and dance battles, with prizes of up to 1,500 dirhams for first place, 1,000 dirhams for second, and 500 dirhams for third.

Meanwhile, competitive gamers can join tournaments in categories including Street Fighter, Gang Beasts, Fortnite, FC 26, and Tekken 8. However, since tournaments are first come, first served, be sure to arrive early to secure your spot!

The games will take place on a schedule as shown below:

Friday:

FC 26, 12PM- 4PM.

Tekken 8, 4:30PM-7:40PM

Gang Beasts, 7:40PM-10PM.

Saturday: 

Fortnite, 10:00 AM- 2:00PM.

Street fighter, 2:15PM- 6:15PM.

Sunday: 

FC 26, 12:00PM- 4:00PM.

Tekken 8, 4:30PM- 7:40PM.

Gang Beasts, 7:40 PM- 10:00PM. 

Most excitingly, ten PlayStation and Xbox simulator zones are available to participants every day of the festival! 

How can you participate?

This event is held annually at YAS Mall, Town Square. You can join by shopping at YAS Mall on the day of your visit and spending 50 dirhams; then, sign up the same day by presenting your receipt at the gaming arena, where you’ll receive your YAS Gamers wristband.
